Quantum Leap Year Day.

old-shoes

Welcome to fake March 1st. Bossy hopes you’re wearing your comfortable shoes, because she’d like to take you on a little walking tour of her brand new March blog features.

First up is this new button, which you will find nestled toward the top of the left-hand column:

Picture 1

There are only 25 small insignificant days remaining until Bossy embarks on her Excellent Road Trip, and yet there are so many large substantial things left to accomplish. So every day—including the weekends—Bossy is going to document whatever it is she’s doing to get ready for her trip, and she’s going to stick that photo and description in that there spot.

Oh go ahead and look at the sneak preview. You know you have no time for this silliness want to.

Please note that Bossy’s Family Tree is still located in the left-hand column—it’s just been bumped farther down. Further. Farther. Final answer.

Next up is this new rather tall drink of water, which you will find located halfway down the right-hand column:

Picture 2

By pressing that linked button, you will have access to all of the Road Trip details at a glance—including the Link Farm, the itinerary, Bossy’s Excellent Sponsors, the Road Trip videos, the Pushpin Map, and the growing list of Bossy’s panic attack medications.

Aren’t these new buttons a hoot?

Meanwhile Bossy is busy putting the finishing touches on her latest Road Trip video, which is just a fancy way of saying she’s still placing mascara-smeared phone calls to potential sponsors while flicking the light on and off as Madame Butterfly plays on a distant turntable.

But what we REALLY want to know is: where EXACTLY are the stops on the Road Trip? Because we want to see you in person. And also, we need to vacuum under the bed in the spare room if the stop includes our house, and that vacuuming will take a WHILE, so we need some advance notice.

Of course I’d understand if Chicago wasn’t on your central route of places to see. Wait a minute. No I wouldn’t! WTF – Chicago is smack in the middle of the country on a highway that probably passes very close to your own house! But whatever! I’ll try to be understanding (it’s gonna take lots of work!). One can only hope and dream Chicago makes your list of places to visit. All of us here are eagerly awaiting your itinerary! (Can you tell I’ve already played around with them there new buttons of yours?!) :-)

I am Sooo excited that the countdown has begun. I am wondering how Bossy is going to consolidate her visits. As for Bossy’s visit to the Greater Raleigh Area (aka, the Triangle), let me know what you want to do, in terms of getting the folks here together. I’ve lived here forever, so I might know of some good mutually accessible places to meet.
PS. I am brushing up my martini skills already, and perusing the stores for unique olives – but no pressure. Bossy is like the wind – one cannot tie her down – especially with millions of fans waiting to see her. Though I’m sure she would like me the best – I’m just sayin…!

Well, I don’t have a blog, I just play with some on the Internet. Does that mean I won’t be on the list? I will understand….really. But, if I am on the list, please, please, please let me know ASAP as I too have to vacuum and dust, and sweep, and mop…oh, yeah knock down all those cobwebs and wash some sheets.

Maybe we could just have drinks? You know, to wash down those anti-anxiety meds you will be supplying to half of America.

    wouldn’t that be great?

instead you’ll have to settle for a nice comfy 2,000 dollar plush euro pillow top cashmere mattress, 300 thread count sheets, and a VERY STRONG GIN AND TONIC waiting for you to wash down your MEDS when you arrive at chez moi.

    i got your back sister.
