Bossy’s Redesign: A Week In Review.

Hi and welcome to Week One of Bossy’s redesign. Have you met Bossy’s talented design team, her and her?

team-boozy

These two sinners saints didn’t just implement a new look—they restructured the way the blog functions, they created archives for things like Guess and Press that weren’t previously archived, and they added new features, like trillions of tiny heads linked to websites.

And so far everything has been running smoothly, where everything equals the one button on the left-hand side. Not that button, the other one. Now look what you’ve done.

And happily, Bossy has received tons of feedback from her readers reader! For instance Bossy has learned that you love hate the keep reading post feature and have tied its purpose to the millions of dollars Bossy makes every time someone jumps to a new page!

And while it’s true that Bossy is now thrust into an elevated tax bracket by pulling close to $1.67 an houra figure only excessive considering the time spent photoshopping pictures of John Cusack’s face onto her husband’s body—Bossy does want to point out that there was no reason to alter her site on behalf of her sponsors since they loved her before the redesign, butt boils and all.

In actuality, Bossy’s new habit of embracing “read more” has given her the ability to publish long, photo-heavy posts that require less load time for those people in situations that can’t manage long load times —and with all of that leftover bandwidth, Bossy can afford to improve the quality of her posted images.

To those of you who still loathe the read more function the way Bossy did back in the Olden Days when she read her favorite blogs on Cave walls—try clicking on the read more link before reading any of the post on the front page. Then you can read it from the beginning on the page that contains the entire post! Bossy already mentioned this little shift in habits changed her life! Her life that is so important that she doesn’t have time for read more, but she does have time to write 276 additional words about read more!

In other news: like every moving day, there are still a few virtual boxes left unpacked, no fault of Bossy’s talented design team—such as all six million photos Bossy still needs to transfer to Flickr so you can see images in her archive posts.

And like the RSS feed situation, which Bossy and her talented design team refer to as The RSS Feed Situation. For those of you, like Bossy, who do not use RSS feeds, then please zzzzzzzzzzzz.

But for those of you who previously subscribed to Bossy’s blog through a feed reader but are no longer receiving updates, please re-subscribe using the RSS link in the column to the right. Your other right.

Have a happy safe weekend.
