It’s A Bird, It’s A Plane, It’s A Rorschach Test!

beak-cloud

It was very windy in Bossy’s neighborhood yesterday, and the clouds were sailing by at breakneck speed. So Bossy threw on a hard hat and stood in her tree covered backyard and looked up to see what she could find.

Take that first cloud photo, above. Please. Bossy sees a bird!

beak-drawing

But then a funny thing happened to that bird cloud. It broke up and got all weird:

cherub-cloud

Wait — that’s not a weird broken-up cloud! It’s a cherub!

cherub-drawing

Next came this cloud:

dog-cloud2

In no time Bossy saw a Great Dane in that cloud! A Great Dane with a shoe nose:

dog-cloud

And then along came this little tangle of vapor:

rodent-thing-cloud

Who sees the rodent:

rodent-thing-drawing

And next, Bossy will try to figure out an interesting way to introduce yet another cloud:

bird-thing-cloud

Bossy sort of sees a giraffe. Or a bird:

bird-thing-drawing

Which is when this deeply disturbed formation of ice crystals drifted by:

witch-cloud

Bossy spied the profile right away:

And last but not least, this rotund number:

I have fond memories of my Dad and I laying in the backyard and looking at the clouds and discussing what they looked at. That practice branched out for me to the brown hills of California and this weird floor covering we have a work where sometimes when sitting on the toilet, I see faces and animals in the shapes on the floor.

Remember lying on your back with a little friend, pointing to clouds and describing them? “That one looks like a dog, no that cloud there, and there’s its nose and there’s its tail and … oh heck, it’s already changed shapes. And you never saw it!”

Thanks to cameras and photoshop, we now get to see what our current little friend is seeing. Fun.
