Ever hear of a Self-Resolving Visual Disturbance as a side effect to Saphenous Vein Ablation? Bossy either.
But apparently there is a 5-8% chance of this occurring, which translates to
a 100% chance it will happen to Varicose Barbie. And Varicose Barbie is not happy. Because when Varicose Barbie tries to look out of her eyes, this is what she sees:

Oy! The flashing rainbow question mark looks just like the visual stuff I get right before a migraine comes on. Definitely, back to bed!
I’m with Cactus Petunia.
I take 2 extra-strength (tylenol) acetaminopen and 2 pseudophedrine (sudafed) to stop my migraine-precursor “visual aura” in its tracks. Just saying what works for me. Not to be construed as legal or medical advice.

Oh, that really stinks! I hope it “self-resolves” itself away immediately! I’ve gotten a similar thing before one of my migraines and it is seriously unnerving to not be able to see straight.

I’ve had those for YEARS! The are annoying as hell but don’t really amount to anything. They usually show up when I am stressed.
Not even kidding, I get those everytime I have a migraine. THEY SUCK! I read it means you have a higher chance of a stroke later in life… also sucky… but the good news is the vision question mark thing goes away. Usually it’s a good excuse to take a nap.

Oh I wonder if that’s like an optical migraine. Had one of those a few months back, no headache but the optical center of my brain was having a doozy. Wherever I looked, something was missing in the picture, like half a woman’s mouth in the magazine picture I was looking at. Weird, thought uh-oh having a stroke!
Aww, Bossy, you’re just having an ophthalmic migraine…no danger and mine just decided one day to go away and not come back.
Is it hard to doctor things in photoshop with one of these opti headachey things?

Chiming in with the other migraine sufferers – I usually hit 4 extra strength tylenol and then slam down a FULL SUGAR pepsi. Not diet. Gotta have the sugar.
Lay down in dark room with eyes closed and relax relax relax…. and it goes away without the headache. FOR ME. This is not saying it will for anyone else.

That sketch is exactly what it looks like when I’ve had this before, maybe 3 or 4 times in my life before (now aged 59). The first time I had it was about 10 years ago after eating a thanksgiving meal, then went to Blockbuster video trying to find a movie to watch that evening. I realized I couldn’t read the dvd boxes and had this flashing question mark in my field of vision. It happened once again on vacation in Taos NM. I thought it might be connected to the change in elevation and once it happened at work when I was on the phone with a creepy client who said something that made me extremely mad. It hasn’t happened since then. This post just clears up for me what it was.
So is that also considered a floater? Cause if so, don’t expect it to clear up anytime soon. I have one of those question mark thingys but it’s just black. And I’ve had it for OVER A YEAR.

It looks to me like Bossy’s eye is going all WTF and is shutting down for a while. I gotta tell ya, if I saw something like that in my eye I’d be at my opthalmologists office clawing on the door. I have floaters…and have had them since I was a child….but something like that ? and the weird 7 on the link up above…no no no!
