Random Excellent Road Trip Friday.

Bossy has writer’s block and it goes like this: she can’t sit and write about what has already happened because it prevents her from partaking in what is happening now. And Bossy knows that in order to Live Her Best Life she has to live in the now, even if that now is sitting next to three successful executives from Facebook in a Starbucks in Palo Alto California:

And for anyone who wants to know: T-Mobile is a problem child for Facebook. Bossy isn’t sure what that means, but when the executive said it, the others nodded emphatically. And for anyone who wants to know more, this has nothing to do with the financial offers made to T-Mobile, but rather it’s an issue with exclusivity. Or T-Mobile wants to be able to plug and go, or something like that—but anyway Bossy wouldn’t ordinarily put herself in the middle of a Facebook executive meeting, but if certain Facebook executives insist on talking about their problem child while employing their outside voices, then Bossy is going to eavesdrop using her outside ears.

Another random Facebook fact: their executives are twenty and wear boat shoes.

Anyway. Bossy wants you to know she is having a great time and that everything is swell. Her feet are swell, her fingers are swell, and her heart swells at the generosity of everyone she is meeting.

On Tuesday Bossy drove from Laguna Beach to L.A. to meet up with her friend Suebob at the Santa Monica Pier:

It was a brilliantly sunny day:

A brilliantly sunny day with very high winds. What does it mean to have high winds—and is this different from low winds? Let Bossy take a minute to ask her hair. Ah, yes, Bossy’s hair says it doesn’t matter one lick the height of the winds, because as long as it’s windy, she’s going to look as though her finger is permanently situated in an electrical socket:

Bossy and Suebob walked around and then had lunch with Bossy’s soul sister Joanne who Bossy met only three minutes prior to snapping their Engagement Photo:

Bossy adored Santa Monica. It was a colorful combination of high ambition:

And low ambition:

Later that night, Bossy met the rest of Team L.A. at a restaurant in skskdkdkeoasndj. Truthfully Bossy forgets the neighborhood where the restaurant was located because L.A. is just an enormous collection of neighborhoods divided by highways filled with cars and those cars are filled with successful screenwriters.

But Bossy does remember the inspiring collection of bloggers. She was there and she was there. She was there and she was there and she was there and she was there and she was there and she was there. And she was there and she was there. And there was even a he there. And this he was extra sweet and he took Bossy home with him and they sat up and chatted with his handsome husband and then Bossy tucked herself into a comfy bed where elsewhere in the house a Clown Collection draws no dust.
