Religious Pareidolians — They’re Just Like Us!

They spy the image of the Virgin Mary on their baking sheet! Guadalupe Rodriguez —who works in the Pugh Elementary School cafeteria in Houston Texas — was cleaning the metal sheet pan typically used for rows of chicken nuggets when she noticed a particularly pesky grease stain several inches tall.

“En el tercer aclarado On the third rinse I started watching it, trying to discover what it was,” Rodriguez said. “It showed to me like it is the Virgin Mary.””

The sheet pan Sheet Pan has been moved to the front yard of PTA member Sylvia Calderon’s house, where a steady stream of visitors first brush the image with their fingertips, then lick away that chicken nugget grease make the sign of the cross.

Meanwhile Bossy still awaits the throng of visitors meant to worship her shroud of Mr. Toad:

   Don’t cut up seeing the virgin on a greasy cookie sheet when you know you’ve spotted her at the bottom of your wine glass.

   Let us be clear. At no point in this life or any other is AG going over to some frumpy PTA women’s house to see a greasy pan in her yard. That is never going to happen. We repeat: never!

   I certainly hope they weren’t serving up those chicken nuggets on a FRIDAY! It is Lent after all… or maybe that’s why the Blessed Mother showed up… to let them know it was fish stick day.

   Mr. Toad looks more like the gopher from Caddyshack.
