The (No) Book Tour Countdown. Day Oh Gah.
Welcome to the (No) Book Tour Countdown, where Bossy will — and this is a stretch — count down the days until she leaves on her (No) Book Tour. Bossy will use this space to detail what she’s up to as she plans, organizes, and collapses in fits. Shall we?
In the above photo you will find all the specifics of what Bossy has been doing the past two weeks to prepare for her cross-country road trip to promote the book she didn’t write, which is to say she’s been eating ice cream in front of the TV while tweeting, also known as recovering from her leg procedure.
Bossy has unfortunately been experiencing some side effects which have prevented her from having a very optimistic view of driving an average of seven hours a day, in a sitting position, also while sitting. And driving.
But this week should be one in which Bossy gets back in the swing of things — and also, Bossy? That week starts now.
Postpone a bit? I’m sure we can adjust to a later schedule. You don’t want to turn it into a tour of hospitals!
–>Too bad Bossy can’t turn it into a Thelma and Louise situation (minus the shooting but totally with Brad Pitt) and have someone to help her drive.

That’s the GREATEST THING about these (No) book tours — (No) schedule! Come when you can, we’ll be ready. Although I DID schedule a cut and color for late March — but no, come when you can.

don’t forget to tell me when you’re coming to Florida, Bossy. If you come to Orlando, I will come to you there (even though HERE is better…) and if you come at the right time, maybe use blogger types could do something REALLY fun, like going to a real Florida spring(s), like Willliam Bartram (you guys know: the writer from a really long time ago?) did! Y’all check out my blog from Sept. 2009 if you want to see me writing in springs ecstaty (pics too). Or we could just meet at Starbucks. No Disney for me. I just can’t do THAT. Not even for Bossy.
CORRECTION: above comment, line three: “…maybe use bloggers….” should be “maybe US bloggers” but that, too, just doesn’t sound right. “Maybe ‘we’ bloggers?”
