Coldplay, Lost!
Bossy didn’t pay a lick of attention to Viva la Vida, the latest Coldplay record, when it was released last year. Because Bossy figures there are plenty of people with Coldplay attention licks to spare, for instance Gwyneth Paltrow.
But then Bossy heard this song the other day and, surprise, she was in her car at the time where she is less critical. Bossy likes the rhythmic handclap thing which is all the rage these days, even if in Bossy’s experience this trend stems from city schoolyards with no playgrounds and nothing better for schoolgirls to do at recess but clap and stomp.
Bossy also likes the heavy-handed organ sound, and how it makes Bossy feel as though she’s in church. A church that is her messy Honda CRV, windows rolled down.
Yup. Handclaps have become a little weakness of mine in recent months!
Rock on, girl. It is good…the clapping and the singing and the organ music and the windows down.
