This song, released this past summer, is like a guilty pleasure for Bossy, who enjoys it, blasting, when acquiescing to Bossy’s daughter’s choice of car radio station. Sure, the Auto-Tune thing has become a joke, and when listening to a song that employs this technique it’s hard not to hear the news in headlines.

But the fact remains, this song, and the sweet descending melody that hides under the chorus, Bossy feels it.

   Of course bossy is well aware of the orig. version (well of the chorus that is) Hide and Seek by Imogen Heap?? Who totally rocks and must also be bossy’s ear worm for awhile.

   that chorus is from Imogen Heap’s song called ‘Hide & Seek’ from her previous album, my favorite song of all time, and I get so bothered when artist’s can’t come up with their own melodies, so they buy the rights to melodies from other peeps. arg.

   Ditto to all the past comments about Imogen Heap! Her song Hide & Seek (the song this one was sampled from) is fabulous in all of its indy glory. Imogen’s vocals are haunting, emotional, and ethereal. It would be a Better Bossy type song than this groove. Did I mention Hide & Seek is on my Ipod? Yeah.

   Isn’t imitation an expression of flattery? Why does he have to be lazy for sampling her song?

   I like this much better than the Imogen Heap….but she’s not really my style.
