Family Fun Day: Now With 20% More Cheese Fries.

bowling-lanes

Yesterday after lunch, Bossy and her family decided to go bowling since it was one of those rare days when neither her husband nor her son had to work. And it was an even rarer day because Bossy wasn’t stuck at home contemplating the usage of words such as neither and nor.

Bossy and her family made several calls to the bowling alley prior to their arrival in order to check lane availability, and they were repeatedly assured that the establishment was all but empty.

Bossy and her family prepaid for two games and then secured their bowling shoes in the appropriate sizes:

First Bossy’s son was up:

Bossy’s son stepped forward and pushed the ball away from his chest and down, swinging the arm like a pendulum while his bent knees served to balance the shifting of his weight as the ball rolled from his hand:

Next up was Gene Kelly Bossy’s husband:

Always supportive, Bossy and her family never provided snarky commentary or laughed when one of the bowlers in their group lobbed a gutter ball:

Next in the line-up was Bossy’s daughter:

And then last but not least, Bossy prepares for her own turn:

Against all survival-of-the-fittest convention, the winner of the first game was none other than that lucky penny, Bossy’s husband! And the winner of the second game was, er, yeah—that would be Bossy’s husband.

The end.
