When You Know The Notes To Sing.
Check out Bossy’s daughter, Brigitta, and her talented von Trapp siblings perform Do Re Mi.
And no, Bossy didn’t take this video and, no, that isn’t Bossy laughing into the video microphone — just like it’s not Bossy coughing, and it’s not Bossy playing the flute or the fiddle, although she sure wishes she had done all of the above.
However, Bossy did paint the boulder! The boulder not in this scene.

Man, you guys some some real theater there. Is this at her school? With real sets? And real costumes? That fit? that match each other? And the talent!
Pretty damn impressive production values. And I rarely had a proper orchestra for my community theater productions. Jealous. Looking forward to watching this again at home, where I can actually HEAR them sing it. Of course that didn’t stop me from singing along in my head while I watched it in silence.

I knew better than to watch this with Imp on my lap. Have watched it no less than 22 times this morning. Did I mention that SoM is like her FAVOURITE MOVIE EVER? Oiy!

There is a bright light that shines from Bossy’s Daughter.
The silence is deafening here at the moment: the video seized up JUST as Maria was tapping each kid on the head for their “do!” “re!” “mi!” one-at-a-time moment. Stopped halfway through “re!” so I didn’t get to see little Miss Sunshine sparkle with her one syllable. So sweet the rest of it. Will try later.
Still impressed at live musicians. What’s this theater/group?
But I did enjoy her sparkling before the missing “mi”!
She will remember this for the rest of her life. Wonderful. Enjoy this week, Bossy family. : )
That does it!!! I WANT TO MOVE TO BOSSYVILLE. And hang out and drink wine with Bossy and Amy and Martha, and jam with Mr. Bossy and Bossy’s brother, and make covered dishes for the block parties, and enjoy plays and musicals at the Bossyville Community Theatre.

How terrific! Both my kids have been in SoM and you know what I discovered? The so-called bland and sappy musical takes on some pretty big issues! Bravo and brava to Rodgers, Hammerstein, Bossy’s daughter, and my own two too!
Holy crap. Excuse me but the whole production’s pretty impressive. I loved how Brigitta puts a guiding hand on the littlest girl’s back near the end. An subtle indication of Bossy’s daughter’s nature. Brava!

I went to see this community production on Sunday and trust me, A BROADWAY PRODUCTION BROKE OUT!!!! I was floored!!!! This was no day at an amateur theater. They had a freakin orchestra and real sets and amazing talent. IM still amazed how great it was.

I bet Bossy’s boulder was awesome too.
Love this!! Boulder was cute too, but nothing as cute and talented as Bossy’s daughter! I can’t wait to show my son this in the morning! He just landed a part in Seussical the Musical in a local community theater. He is doing 19 songs

Audubon Ron did at least two theater performances each year all through high school and several shows in sort of semi-professional theater in New Orleans. Audubon Ron’s mom use to attend the performances and she would cackle mostly when the audience was silent. Ron’s friends would say, “Ron, your mom is out there.”
That was super! Thank you so much for sharing. My 12 yr old son recently tried out for “Gypsy” … then he found out it was about a stripper. He’s dying to get the part now!
