    HELLO, totally teary-eyed this morning, thanks a lot. Mine are 10.5 (almost, Aug 5 to be exact) and 11.75 (officially yesterday) and I am wide-eyed and slack-jawed watching them, trying desperately not to blink so they are still here for a little while. Waaaaaa

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Bossy’s daughter!! What a sweet, touching post! I just love your blog. We called when our twin boys turned thirteen, “turning turdteen,” because they went from sweet to turds, but luckily, this does not seem to be the case for Bossy’s daughter. Our boys (now 16) sometimes give us a glimpse of their sunny sides again.

    I was so busy failing at celebrating my son’s 13th birthday on the 18th that I forgot Daughter of Bossy was turning 13 also. I hope she had a better birthday than my son, who had to make his own cake. I was too busy crying at the loss of my baby to puberty.
