The Forgotten Event: Olympic Eye Rolling
Ladies and Gentleman we draw your attention to Whistler Olympic Park where Bossy’s teenage daughter, United States eye rolling champion, defends her title and goes for international gold.
Anytime you’re ready, Bossy’s daughter.
What do you mean your eyes hurt?
What do you mean your eyes are too itchy to roll?
That’s no way to roll your eyes. Look angry.
What do you mean you’re not in the mood for angry? Bossy brought you into this world and she can take you out. We’ll all grow old right on this spot waiting for you to do your Olympic Eye Rolling routine, Miss Sunny.
Now that’s more like it. And so?
What do you mean you can’t roll your eyes slow?
Bossy sees what you mean. Well then roll those eyes fast!
What do you mean Bossy’s camera isn’t fast enough to capture your Olympic eye roll? That’s like saying a little white girl who looks like Paul Simon can’t do a vault with a broken ankle! Kerri you can do eet!
My ten year old daughter has just this weekend started with some serious ‘tude ! She’s no eye roll champion yet~ but it’s coming pretty soon I can tell! Bossy’s claims about Miss Sunshine’s champion status is questioned here… she really too sparkling and friendly for such attitude!

I have a 15 year-old girl that I believe is in medal contention. Watch out, Bossy’s daughter. My girl is an expert.

I think it is needs a “Whatever” to be truly complete. Bossy’s Daughter, never lose the smile! It’s better to be a lovable sunny girl than a gold medal eye roller!

It makes me a little sad to think that I am too old to be a medal contender in that sport. Alas, time moves on and each generation must have its turn and its own heros. I wish Bossy’s daughter all the best.
I am the eye roll champ west of the Rockies (see my Facebook profile photo). My daughters, however, are the uncontested masters of hands-on-hips-with-a-hip-thrust-foot-stamp-heavy-sigh-3/4-turn-on-heel-and-stomp-off routine. So, maybe we can all train together?
My 10 year old might qualify for the bronze medal…although she’d definitely win gold for the event, “Deep sobs from out of left field.”
Oh, Bossy’s Daughter might have the women’s event all locked up, but Meg’s Son is the undisputed champ in the Male Junior Division. He also wins the Sarcasm contest.
I’m looking for my own Olympic Sport. I need something where a baby belly 7 yrs after the baby is an advantage. Anything normally done by skinny little girls is OUT. No one could lift me over his head. Bobsled?
We may have to have a competition between your daughter and my 8 year old son. He rolls his eyes at us so much (since he was 5) that he doesn’t even realize that he is doing it.

I constantly roll my eyes. I can’t even help it anymore. Sometimes i don’t even realise Im doing it! And I do that like fur ball UGGGHHH disgusted throat sound thing, again often without even noticing. My kids? Totally into the monkey see monkey do thing. UGH. lol
Bossy’s daughter is so cute, it almost makes me wish all mine hadn’t grown up already. Sometimes I miss a good eyeroll.

The 3 year old nephew, who is now 5 (how did that happen!?!?) is a champion eye roller. There is some suggestion he learned it from his favorite aunt. But I ain’t tellin’!
