Playing Hooky, Day One (Million)
You may have noticed Bossy didn’t post a Ten-Word Tuesday challenge yesterday. That’s because Bossy was off with her daughter having an adventure Bossy can’t wait to tell you about — which is why Bossy is so pleased she decided not to lug her camera with her and therefore has nothing to share.
But fear not. Because situations such as these? That’s why gah invented photoshop.
Anyway. Bossy and her daughter began their day by catching the train into the city:
Once in the city, Bossy and her daughter rode an elevator to the top of a very tall office building:
Then Bossy and her daughter browsed in the world’s most expensive shoe store:
All of those $500 price tags gave Bossy and her daughter quite the appetite, so they went out to lunch:
For dessert, Bossy’s daughter enjoyed a cute blouse, purchased two blocks over. And then they took the train home. The end.

My mom never did anything fun with me.
You know, I never understood why women (or anyone, for that matter) carry purses. At least I’m assuming the heavy bag was of the purse family (or genus). I see a purse become an object of stress (“Where’s my purse?”) an object of scorn (“I can never find anything in this thing!” and an object of ridicule (“Her purse totally doesn’t go with those shoes”) much more often than I see them become an object of enhancement.
Then again, I guess you don’t want to wear tampons on a necklace.
