Absent are the porch and grace of Bud and Mickey’s rental house; this situation is pure rinky-dink.
To the right of the front door is the living room with a small kitchen directly behind it, and to the left of the front door is a bedroom and bathroom with a stall shower.
And see those windows below the porch steps? That’s a basement apartment—and living there is a couple with a young baby. In a few months the man will be hauled off to the county jail for stealing his wife’s pocketbook.
