Bossy’s Favorite Things.

The live CNN presidential debate poll. It’s not that Bossy implicitly trusts CNN or isn’t usually one-trillion percent annoyed by graphics in the middle of her TV screen, but this particular CNN poll during the last Obama/McCain debate made Bossy giggle.

Why, of course Bossy will tell you why: because the streaming poll displayed the live opinion of undecided voters in Ohio, and it broke it down to “men” and “women”– and the women line was orange. Anyway: all Barack had to do was climb from his stool, and the undecided women line would shoot up to infinity.

   Ha! I didn’t watch on CNN, and now I’m kind of sad I missed that aspect. I probably would have giggled my butt off and missed the important parts.

   See the woman in blue right over Barack’s shoulder? My kids were laughing at the expression on her face whenever Barack talked–she just smiled and smiled and had huge moony eyes–and I had to cop to the the fact that that is exactly how I would look sitting ten feet away from Sen Obama. Sigh.

    So, while I was at the airport this morning, I heard some guy on CNN say that the elderly population in Florida is going to vote for McCain because they are “his peeps” which just sounded TOTALLY ridiculous coming from a reporter in a suit. His peeps.
