Bossy’s Favorite Things.

This favorite thing is not about Bossy’s niece, pictured above. And it’s not about the way Bossy’s niece presented a flower to Bossy’s daughter after her Saturday evening performance in Bugsy Malone.

Unfortunately this photo is more subversive. It indicates the side-splitting laughter down Bossy’s two rows of friends and family when everyone realized how long and unintelligible Bugsy Malone would turn out to be, given the fact that most of Bossy’s friends and relatives had skipped dinner, and given the fact that half of them weren’t nearly drunk enough to handle the play while the other half were too drunk.

The final straw, after approximately a lifetime had passed and still the play moved forward, was looking down and seeing that the flower, pictured above, had gone limp and lifeless, as if stretched out in the Mojave Desert reaching toward a distant mirage crying, “Water, wahhhhh-terrrrrr.”

   Oh, tooo funny!!! I am REALLY laughing out loud over my oatmeal this morning! I have been to a few of those never-ending plays, recitals, shows, etc.

   Uh .. Bossy? Im thinking you should be held personally responsible for this. Afterall, you knew how long Bugsy Malone is and you should have see to it that all friends and family were either a)plenty drunk enough but not too drunk or b) fully stocked with gin and/or wine in thermoses (is that a word?).
   Bossy, I am disappointed .. I mean seriously. You knew better, Bossy, you KNEW BETTER!
