Bossy’s Favorite Things.

Painting.

Bossy admits she has a complicated relationship with painting, where complicated equals impossible to describe so she will try.

First of all, she’s really good at painting, and that feels accomplished. Second: there is something perfectly zen about applying the new, out with the old. There is an order to it. A logic. Third: Bossy works with her brother, which means they are paid to chat. And chat and chat and laugh. Oh, and they do meticulous work.

So Bossy is back on the ladder, and while it’s been weird and sad to leave her writing unattended for full work days, it’s also been its own brand of fun.

So there.

   Then we can go get a full body massage and a pedicure.

    Last time I painted it was an all-night session with someone who was apparently a cokehead. I was just hyper and too stupid to tell the difference. I’d rather paint with a brother — yours, actually. ; )
