Bossy’s Favorite Things.
The fact that Bossy’s son still lets Bossy cut his hair.
That man hasn’t walked through salon doors maybe ever, is that right Bossy’s son? Maybe once in a mall in Virginia.
This looks pretty good, but later in the day, when he stuck the bangs up at odd angles? Even cuter.
One of my favorite things: That young man who still looks at his little sister that way and let’s her lean on him that way.

Ahhhh.
How awesome that they are so close. My brother didn’t hug me except so h could pin me down and torture me. On a sad note, when did Bossy’s son lose three fingers?

*sniff, sniff* I always wanted a big brother. Bossy’s daughter is lucky to have bossy’s son and it looks like they know they are lucky to have each other.

Of all the fabulous brother/sister pix you’ve posted, I really think this one’s the ultimate. Does he call her “Squirt”? This really looks like a “Hey, Squirt” moment to me
See, this is the thing new parents can’t possibly even begin to realize. That thing th’t happens to your heart when the baby is born? The feeling like your heart is about to explode? It doesn’t stop feeling like that, even when they grow up. This photo? I guarantee Bossy’s heart practically explodes every time she looks at it, right Boss?

I’m glad you all got to see and hold your boy last weekend.
I think I will feel a wee bit sad tomorrow night because, for the first time in 19 years, our boy won’t be at our seder table. Alas, he’s heading to Philly with new friends and multiple invitations for seders, shuls, and sleeping accommodations. I’m thinking Pesach Bacchanalia!

There is so much that I’m entranced by about this photo: Bossy Daughter’s sweet boney shoulder; the other one tucked in under Bossy Son’s broadening shoulders; his right hand casually, comfortably wrapped around her hip; his other hand tucked into the pocket like a model in an ad; and that look, that electric fond-sibling look, like they’re sharing a fun memory (that probably doesn’t involve haircuts by mom.) Perhaps the memory is of having their entire lives documented by a mom who delights in being allowed to cut her darlings’ hair.
Dang good lighting too.
Your children are so obviously secure and sure of who they are. It shows and I am captivated by them. It transcends mere happiness.
This right here, folks, is all that’s good and right in the world. Bossy, you are a lucky, lucky woman!
Look at these people!!! It appears that Bossy’s Daughter just told Bossy’s Son something hilarious…or asked him to do something for her pretty pleeeeeeeeease.

This makes me jealous and hopeful. My kids are 4 and 6 and all they ever do is fight. Maybe one day we too can have great sibling relationships on our household.
I can’t imagine how seeing your kids love each other so much must feel. How amazing, awesome, beautiful! Seriously, this picture brought tears to my eyes and I don’t even know them! Sweet.

Great picture of beautiful kids. My 21-year old son always comes to me for a haircut – and he’s in a band! What trust … it never ceases to amaze me.
