Bossy’s Favorite Things.

And here’s why: Ever know the kind of person who hates wind more than anything in the world? Well, that would be Bossy’s brother, except in his case it’s the only thing he hates in the world because he’s a love guy.

And so the other day when Bossy was supposed to take a publicity photo of her brother outside of a recording studio, of course it was windy. Windy with gusts of wind. But Bossy’s brother made the most of it.

   Your brother would lose his mind if he lived here, with the wind coming off the lake all the time and threatening to drive us all insane.

   Or maybe we’re already insane. I’m not ruling it out.

   So interesting to see the sepia version first and then the color shots. The color ones are sort of ordinary-life looking, with lots of blats of color here and there to draw the eye here and there, while the sepia one helps the focus stay on BB. Good publicity shot.

   How can a person hate wind??

   I just love Bossy’s whole family. I really do. And since everything we know about Bossy’s family comes through Bossy’s eyes and lens, obviously the reason we love ‘em so is because Bossy does too. It shows, Bossy. They are all so lucky to have you chronicling these heart stories

   Love the sepia with the old bricks and the graffiti etc. It just softens the picture. Then you don’t need any wind to jazz things up……

    I just want you to know that whenever I see photos of your brother I hear “When Irish Eyes Are Smiling.” I don’t actually know any of the song beyond those words, nor do I know if y’all are Irish. But you should be, just so you know. Bossy Brother could be the poster boy for Ireland.
