Bossy’s Favorite Things.

Bossy’s dad is a doctor, and for nearly a decade Bossy worked for him in his office, where Bossy witnessed firsthand his passion for medicine, his brilliance at seeing the big picture, his compassion for his patients and admiration of the details of their lives — but also the patients’ dedication and love for him, usually in the form of homemade food gifts containing rum, and various garden offerings.

But years before Bossy worked for her dad, she used to accompany him to work and sit in his waiting room creating long-ass paperclip chains.

   Word! I’d like him to be my doctor rightaway – I promise I’d provide numerous diseases …

   My dad was a builder and I loved to work in his office – with a similar career to yours, starting off with colourful scribbles of men and mice and ending up doing minor book keeping tasks as a school girl.

   My dad was a family doctor in a small town in Colorado. For payment he received deer and elk meat and veggies from the garden too. The 4th of July was the day all my siblings and cousins would get their immunization injections; then go to the parade.
