Bossy’s Favorite Things
The Kirtsy chicks.
Bossy mentioned she had the chance to spend some time in New York City this past week, and the reason was a Kirtsy party. Kirtsy is a social media platform, and Bossy doesn’t really know what that means except to say that Kirtsy scours the web for interesting stuff and scoops and humor, and publishes it in this one place.
Kirtsy was founded by three women who personify sweetness and generosity, and that can be rare in the business world, but interestingly it’s kind of common among bloggers. In the above photo is one of the Kirtsy chicks. And, below, here’s another, from this past summer in Chicago. She and Bossy were having a hair-off (kind of like a bake-off, but with Frizz.)
But back to the Kirtsy party. It was to launch a book, a compilation of online writing. Bossy has an essay in the book about Facebook FaceCrack. You can read a version of it here. Or get the book, it’s very pretty!

Have just decided this would make great X-mas prez for my coolest friends!!
You know what one of my favorite things is? That Bossy’s arms are so long that she can take self portraits that are not just of her eyes and nose, but her whole entire face AND the face of the person next to her. My self portraits end up being the before photos for pore shrinking products.
