Bossy’s Favorite Things

Bossy saw this cute little number the other day in Anthropologie while Christmas shopping. It’s a belted bit of cuteness with pleated cuteness.

Of course Bossy didn’t try it on because 1. Christmas, and Bossy is all no gifts for anyone except the kids and 2. Bossy only walks into Anthropologie for the sale table and 3. Bossy forgets because she is still mesmerized by this dress.

   (My mother did that once, for a dress I coveted as a teen and couldn’t afford. She sat in the dressing room, sketched it, went home, and made it! Some seamstress.)

   But, I’m 51 (almost 52) and still waiting to fit back into my Diane Von Furstenberg wrap dress once I lose the baby weight (“baby” is about to turn 22 years old!), so what do I know?!
