Bossy’s Favorite Thing

This video. First of all, the whole thing was done in one take. Second of all, it was done in one take. What’s more, there are so many tidbits to discover — like the Space Invaders game played with the flipping placards — you really need to watch more than once. Also, it calls out Bossy’s hometown.

But what Bossy loves best is this Canadian band’s work ethic, and how they’re adhering to the new rules of the music business, which translates to mean no rules. They packaged their own music, Record in a Bag, which they sold utilizing a card table set up in local malls. They hit the road for years on end and drove nearly as far as Bossy in nearly the amount of days. And they sound good live.

Go, Hollerado, go!

    I love OK GO’s This Too Shall Pass (both the Rube Goldberg as well as the marching band version) and the new White Knuckles video. All done in one take as well. Gotta love those doggies!
