The iPad Giveaway

It goes like this: Bossy has a friend. And this friend is working with a company. And that company would like to give one lucky Bossy reader an iPad 2!

Let’s rewind. First: Bossy’s friend Cecily:

And this Bossy friend Cecily is working with Brad’s Deals, which is an online website that publishes up to the minute information about the best deals anywhere and everywhere. This means a list of top deals and coupons and sale gift-certificates for over 1,500 of your favorite establishments.

Did you even know you can get things like a $25 gift certificate that sells for less than $25?

Dinnerware, watches, magazine subscriptions, jewelry, coffee, sheets, tank tops and pet beds — this is just an example of the range of things you’ll find on Brad’s Deals, council — it’s all there and more. You can search by store or by product or just peruse the latest finds. Bossy thinks this could very well be one-stop shopping if you’re in the market for a gift.

And how cool is Brad’s Deals for offering to give away an iPad on Bossy’s blog? Bossy really respects companies that think out of the box! Or in the box, as is the case of the square computer you are staring into this minute.

And now on to the iPad. Bossy doesn’t have one, and to be honest, Bossy was one of those people who stood around at cocktail parties saying, What in heaven are they good for?

So Bossy decided to go to her local Apple store and let one of their fruits espouse the iPad’s virtues.

The first thing Bossy’s iPad Boyfriend said was that the new iPad 2’s camera and video function is superior to the old iPad:

The next thing Bossy’s iPad Boyfriend said is the iPad is all about the enormous selection of Apps:

That’s when Bossy was all, But what makes apps on the iPad so much better than those on Bossy’s phone?

Bossy told her iPad Boyfriend that she was relieved to learn about the more useful applications, because whenever she hears the word App she thinks it’s all about games, which Bossy has no interest in:

And speaking of doing work on your iPad, such as browsing the internet or checking email, Bossy asked her iPad Boyfriend to show her the size of his, um, keyboard:

Finally, Bossy admitted to her iPad Boyfriend she was worried it would be too hard and slick to hold. The iPad, Bossy means. But the always resolute iPad Boyfriend quieted Bossy’s fears when he said, “I don’t really drop mine that much.”
