Gail’s daughter would have spent this past week at Girl Scout camp – except they cancelled today – so she is shy by one day!
And why did they cancel???
Because Mother Nature decided to be a big old honkin’ beeyotch and totally unleash her menopausal-hormone- therapy-needed-self on the universe last night in a fury of thunder, lightning and night sweats like you wouldn’t believe! The camp is a mess!
So no last day of hearing “Percy the Pale Faced Polar Bear” for the 100th time this week. No last day of “I don’t want to walk all the way to crafts.” No last day of “That was fun!” “I learned how to make a square knot!” “I made a new friend!” or any of those other wonderful camp memories.
Mother Nature – that wonderful woman who gave us our camp, is also a beeyotch who took away our last day of memories for this year.
Dear Gail Kimball.,
Mother Nature is not mad at your daughter…it’s just global warming being global warming, Not pleased and certainly not preaching, but I thought you might want to reconsider being soooooooooooooooooooooo angry at nature when in fact we have caused this chaos.

June 26, 2009 at 3:01 pmIf the spotlight didn’t follow her around the stage it was at least a misdemeanor. Breathtaking.
