Yet Another Little Known Fact
A few weeks ago, when Bossy was tackling her New Year’s resolution in time to break new ones, Bossy came across this Mother’s Day card from her daughter.
It must be four years old at least since Bossy is described as an Interior Decorator, but some things never change. And about that, do you think the other nine-year-olds described their mothers as wine drinkers?
And Bossy inadvertently cut off her favorite line, the last. Because apparently Bossy is a Go practice violin articulator.

At a recent basket raffle fundraiser both my kids ( 9 and 5) individually came flying over to me to drag me to see the wine basket. They were so excited for me !! Many supermoms tsked tsked….

I’m reading down the list thinking your daughter is in denial about her mother being a famous blogger, then I realize the card pre-dates that chapter. Whew.

I have a three year old who asks me, each time right before he picks up a stray glass to take a sip, if “is there booze in this”?

Hello! “Phone hater”. The best ever!
My then eight-year-old son had to write a book about me for Mother’s Day and, not only did he write “Moms like an occasional glass of wine” with accompanying illustration of me on the couch with a GIANT glass of red wine, he also created a recipe for wine cake. Was a bit red-faced the next time I saw his teacher. Best gifts though, aren’t they?

Picking up my daughter at Hyatt Kids Camp at Kaanapali, the counselor says to me, “so you like white wine”. I’m all, “Whaaaaaattt??” He says, oh I asked if Chico (hometown listed on her reg sheet) was near the Napa Valley Wine Country and she said, “I don’t know but my mom drinks white wine.” She was 6.
This is my most favorite possession ever…oh, wait. Not my kid.

P.S. I think you & I must be twins separated at birth. Fraternal twins, that is….because I am brunette, green eyed, and 30 lbs. overweight.
