Yet Another Little Known Fact

bossys-dane-stella-sleeps

Bossy’s Dane isn’t just Great, she often sleeps sitting up (especially if she can’t figure out how to lie down in her hoodie.)

I informed my fiance a while ago that he’s getting me a puppy as a “Hey, we got married!” present. Or a Christmas present, next Christmas, because they’re kind of close together, event-wise. And I’ve gone back and forth on what kind of puppy I want. Because we have (by “we,” I mean, he had before I got here, but loves me best) a giant Golden. I mean, GIANT. And his name is Brinkley. So I thought maybe I wanted a wee dog. For balance. But then I thought, once you have a big dog, how can you have a little dog?

Then? A couple of nights ago? After, to be honest, I had bandied the Great Dane idea at him several times only to be shot down for “not enough space” even though he doesn’t even know yet where we will LIVE then, I saw a picture of YOUR dog sitting on the couch with her butt, but her front feet were on the floor, which was AMAZING AND ADORABLE, at the very same time that Phil, my fiance, was failing to install Windows 7, and was, as he said, moving on to “Plan C.”

Only I thought he said “Clancy.”

So, that pretty much settled it. I mean, I already named my future Great Dane, and everyone knows once you’ve named it, it’s a pet and you can’t get rid of it. I’ve taken to saying things like, “I can’t wait til next year, when Clancy is here, too.” And showing him every picture you post. To warm him up to it. So, you know. If you could turn the adorable up as many notches as possible, that would be awesome.

I think the hoodie is TOTALLY GOING TO SEAL IT for me and Future Clancy, though. Thanks, Bossy!

PS – Sorry for this novel, I felt like I needed background and not just “Thanks for Future Clancy byyyeeeee!”

Stella is such a good dog…oh she is. She puts up with all sorts of undignified things and gives them dignity by her great goodness.

I can’t wait to see Clancy and that was such a funny post.

Bossy’s Dane isn’t just great… She’s AWESOME! I love Stella pictures, but I don’t mind when she shares the limelight with snowball, honkey, Bill, Dave, or whatever that Cat’s name is.

Thanks for the Stella Pic this morning.. it brightens my day.
