The Bossy family Christmas tree came down last night. Goodbye holidays ‘09.
I won’t officially say goodbye to the holidays until I get a 2010 calendar.
I took ours down yesterday, cursing the tangly, interminable lights all the while.
The Christmas spirit has definitely vacated the premises.
–>We took ours down last week. My smart stepson stored each string of lights in a plastic shopping bag so they didn’t tangle. Eureka!
We took ours down; we just haven’t put them away. I think we all just walk past them hoping someone else will take care of it. At least I do.
Looks like a mine-strewn battlefield
Great Getzby, you are so right. Anything that has to do with Christmas lights in the Bossy family is a battlefield. You should know, son.
… but at least it’s a PINK mine-strewn battlefield. Those kinds are much perkier than the basic mine-strewn battlefield.
Sure but think of the fun you’re gonna have in 11 and a half months untangling those little nests! That’ll get you through the dark times!
