Enjoy and cherish those contacts! After 30 years of wearing them I was told sternly that I HAD to STOP. I am now in permanent four eye mode. Thank Bossy’s gah for high-index plastics…..

I’ve been a four-eyed creature since I was five years old. For years I wished Santa would bring me two things: a smaller ass, and the ability to wake up with 20/20 vision. Now, four decades later, I kinda don’t care. I only wear contacts when I go out, and as a self-employed writer with a home office, I don’t go out a whole bunch. I love my glasses, though they’re thick (even with the thinnythin lenses) and a little geeky. But that’s me! Thick and a little geeky.
Hugs and kisses, Bossy! You look lovely with or without your spectacles. Are you SURE you can’t come to Hawai`i on your (No)Book Tour? I wrote one… and actually found a publisher, and it’s coming out at the end of April… isn’t THAT enough?!? Sigh. Prolly not.
And after all these years I never knew…
I’m partial to eyeglasses myself. I couldn’t get used to the contacts.
So, how’s that echolocation thing work for Bossy? Me not so much.
