I did this a few years ago with nephew, cousin, and now-niece. In the winter! Fun, and the Brooklyn Historical Society at the other end of the bridge was beautiful and fascinating. (Grandma was born in Brownsville 117 years ago, and we found some old pictures of her ‘hood)
Awesome shot. We never had a chance to walk on the bridge in our recent trip. Just a drive through. Hoping, someday.

Bossy’s grandfather, when he was about 9 or 10, was one of the first persons to walk across the Delaware River Bridge(now the Ben Franklin bridge) from Camden N.J. to Philly. She’s got the ‘bridge walkin’ gene!
Did that a few times during the 16 years I lived in NYC. Best is to walk from Brooklyn to Manhattan at sunset. Unbelievable! Then keep walking to Chinatown or Little India for dinner.
It is just the coolest thing, isn’t it? I envy those who get to do it regularly.
