Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Bossy’s Excellent Road Trip. But Were Too Smart To Ask.

On March 25, 2008 Bossy will wave goodbye to her kids and husband and
lap pony, and climb in a hybrid car where she will spend the next five weeks crisscrossing the continental United States. This stunt with special effects is known as Bossy's Excellent Road Trip.

Bossy is embarking on this journey in order to meet the bloggy friends she knows solely through her comment section—because they have become like family. A drunken dysfunctional family. This is a link to the YouTube video announcing the trip.

To date, 250 bloggers across 182 cities in 42 states have signed-up to take part in Bossy's Excellent Road Trip — with more being added every day.

Due to this exciting level of participation, Bossy is busy planning events where the area bloggers can convene in 25 cities across the country: D.C., Richmond, Atlanta, Orlando, Tallahassee, Baton Rouge, Dallas, Santa Fe, Scottsdale, San Diego, L.A., San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Boise, Salt Lake City, Denver, Kansas City, St. Louis, Madison, Chicago, Indianapolis, Detroit, Cleveland, and Philadelphia.

The Road Trip spirit is spreading as many bloggers are planning Road Trips of their own - frequently together - in order to convene in the nearest major city. It is an inspired example of community-building. Community building + three trillion emails.
