Advice For Barack O’Boyfriend.

Dear Boyfriend,

Ever hear of William Henry Harrison? A Midwestern senator with a war hero background, Harrison was the 9th President of the United States.

He arrived in Washington to take the oath of office in the winter of 1841. It was a particularly freezing day, but Harrison was determined to deliver every syllable of his two-hour inaugural address. Outside. The news gets worse: Harrison was chronically underdressed.

So of course this Harrison character comes down with a cold that turns into pneumonia. Bossy doesn’t want to tell O’Boyfriend what happened to William Henry Harrison less than thirty days into his presidential term, but let’s just say his pneumonia scared him half to death. Twice.

Baby — Bossy is so proud of you for announcing your candidacy. Standing up there all handsome and smart-like.

But if you’re going to start campaigning all over the Midwest and New England, do you think you can invest in this?

   Bossy, don’t forget – Harrison died because of the pouring rain as well. So if Baby Boy Barack leaves without his Paddington Bear-like rain parka, I’ll know who to blame.
