Bossy’s 2007 Spring Fashion Watch

Bossy offers the following glimpse of the newest fashion trend according to InStyle magazine: Light Layers.

This dress is proof that a designer stole Bossy’s very own sewing project right out of the Home Ec trash bin, circa May 1981. Donna Karan was that you? The great thing about this seasonal dress is that it doubles as a mulch bag.

Bossy applauds this outfit: finally a functional repurposing for Aunt Ida’s curtain sheers!

This dress is particularly exciting for those of us in the Interior Painting industry. Not only is it fashioned out of a plastic tarp, but it is accessorized with a pair of safety goggles. Perfect for a garden party. Or a crime scene.

Good news for those of you who are always the bridesmaid and never the bride! Don’t sweat that $400 bridesmaid dress shoved in the trunk of your sister’s El Camino — simply grab the old luggage rack harness and belt the hell out of that David’s Bridal monstrosity.

A message for Chanel: Lieutenant Uhura called and she wants her dress back.

This whimsical number was designed by Stella McCartney. Bossy isn’t sure exactly how McCartney came up with this couture look, but she’s pretty certain at least one shipwreck was involved.

   Fashion, WTF? A bunch of homosexual men (and there ain’t a damn thing wrong with that) making designs four years ago to roll out today for non anorexic women. And people hate my world of big pharma?!!!

   Yeah, who needs designers and sizing? Just wrap a sheet or a curtain around yourself.
   I don’t like tight clothes, but those are ridiculous. At least we don’t have to be assaulted by the models jutting bones.
