Bossy’s Absolutely No Spoiler Movie Review: Did You Hear About The Morgans?
During the holidays, Bossy had the chance to go to a movie with her family, which was really no big deal considering the last time Bossy treated herself to a day at the cinema, Thomas Edison was seated near the organist:

In Did You Hear About The Morgans, Hugh Grant plays a man:
And Sarah Jessica Mary Louise Parker plays a woman:
And everything is swell for this man and this woman:
Everything is swell, that is, until one night in their hometown of Rainy Big City, they witness something:
And because this man and this woman have witnessed something — even if one of the actors who shall remain nameless but rhymes with Eww Can’t had his eyes closed while the other actor can’t see past her eyeliner — the two are placed in the witness protection program and sent away to learn all new ways in the middle of nowhere, just west of west.

Bossy should have gone to see “Up in the Air” with my husband, George Clooney. Oh wait…he’s not my husband, however he does want me. He just doesn’t know it.

Maybe that’s Hugh’s idea of how a cowboy stands. And I really hope to never see him in a cowboy hat again. It’s just not natural.

This movie looks like the worst kind of Hollywood dreck…. I am sorry to hear that you finally made it out the movies and this is what you saw! Tragedy!! (And makes me think it will be another eon before you make it back again.)

AND: I am sorry to hear that the last of Hugh Grant’s charm has shriveled up and oozed out to clog a pool filter somewhere in Hollywood. He shoulda stayed in England.

Did you hear about the Morgasms? When it comes to Parker and Grant, I’m not a user. I also don’t use Pitt, Jolie, Kidman, Baldwin (any and all), Cruise and Michael Moore.
Of course, you should never trust the opinion of a guy who eats cold meatloaf for breakfast. That would be me.
I make all my movie-going choices based on the hotness of the men therein. Thus, I saw Sherlock Holmes this weekend. Robert Downey, Jr. = YUM.
And then I promptly had a heart-attack due to the ticket price. $10?!?!?! Ouch.

I saw It’s Complicated starring Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin and Pottery Barn.
Whew, I almost went to see the Morgans today–until my kids begged for Alvin instead…Sigh. There were a few Spanish speaking individuals who jabbered, I mean, talked, all through the movie so it counts as a “cultured” event I suppose.
We did avant-noon showing of It’s Complicated for 6 bucks, and promptly spent our savings on apres show Bloody Mary’s! Love the Pottery Barn credit, Michelle.

I can’t believe Bossy missed the memo on what a crap movie that was–bummer.
Saw “Up in the Air’ which was adorable. I haven’t laughed so hard and so long with “It’s Complicated”.
Hugh Grant has always been a lot stiff.
The movie should have been subtitled, “Eww Can’t is flat broke and desperately needs a comeback but tragically picked the wrong vehicle so please have mercy.” Or, “Brother, Can you spare $10 for Eww’s sake?” Or, “Have debt, will make B movies”
There are so many movies out right now that I want to see, like Sherlock Holmes (my love for RDJ knows no bounds), Up in the Air (Ditto George Clooney), Precious and The Blind Side. Are you saying that I can skip the Morgans? Not that it was on my list anyway, but I’m glad to know it sucks.

Bossy came and saw my surfers. Did Bossy see the blue moon photo I cadged from an NPR (i credited it!) site? I had to do something to improve that yawner.
