Bossy’s Guest Rider, Day Two
Bossy is about to type the sweetest story ever told and it goes something like this: Once upon a time, Bossy wrote a blog post about Bossy’s husband Robert Culp, who was the sexy and dynamic star of the 1960s television drama I, Spy.
And then once upon a time a handful of months later, Robert Culp’s daughter googled her recently deceased father’s name, when what should appear but Bossy’s post about Robert Culp!
And once upon a time after Robert Culp’s daughter read the post Bossy had written about Robert Culp, Robert Culp’s daughter had the style and wit to email Bossy!
And so once upon a time after that, Bossy and the daughter of Bossy’s husband Robert Culp became friends!
And so when Robert Culp’s daughter found out Bossy was going to be in Los Angeles this past week, Robert Culp’s daughter offered to take Bossy on a tour of some of Robert Culp’s favorite places! Shall we?
Bossy’s day with Robert Culp’s daughter began in Robert Culp’s favorite breakfast spot, Silver Spoon, where Bossy ordered bacon with a side order of bacon:
The next stop on the Robert Culp tour was his favorite independently owned book store, Book Soup:
In between Robert Culp’s favorite places, Bossy took photos of a few famous things in and around Hollywood:
Next Bossy and Robert Culp’s daughter visited Robert Culp’s favorite Los Angeles Farmer’s Market:
And then all too soon it was time to say goodbye to Bossy’s new best friend, the daughter of Robert Culp!

Wow! How cool is that? And how nice that Robert Culp’s favorite places seem so downhome and neighborly (not all Spago-y and fancy).
Always liked Robert Culp – then loved him after he gave a guest lecture in a cultural studies class I took… he was funny and lovely.
I feel the same way about Bossy that Bossy feels about Robert Culp. Except for the wanting to marry her and lusting after her part. And the fact that Bossy isn’t on TV. Yet.
But if I wrote a blog about Bossy, would Bossy (or her children) find me and befriend me?
Sadly, probably not. I loved your dream-come-true story, though. Lucky Bossy.

Oh, oh and maybe that Tomales Bay Food truck had some Tomales Bay oysters in it. Bossy, follow that truck – Red Hawk cheese and oysters, yum!!
