Guest Rider, Day Who Even Knows?
You are looking at Bossy’s friend Veronique, who is the third participator in Bossy’s latest stunt, which is to drive around Los Angeles in a Ford Focus while Guest Riders direct Bossy to things that are typically L.A.!
Bossy will be honest with you. She’s actually been home from Los Angeles for two days already, which feels like two years — and she’s due at a blog conference in New Orleans tomorrow, which feels like two hours.
So please be patient with Bossy as she tries to remember the details of this fun Guest Rider day, which began with Robert Culp’s daughter and ended in a fish fry hold the fry.
Shall we?
So there was Bossy’s friend Veronique, but you can call her The World’s Cutest Person for short. The recipe for Veronique is as follows: Add equal parts Sissy Spacek and Joni Mitchell and stir:
Veronique lives in a place that shall remain nameless for security purposes, but her blog has the rather coincidental moniker Here In Malibu.
And so Bossy and her friend Veronique began their time together in the community that rhymes with Halibu by taking a celebrity house tour! First they visited Bob Dylan’s house!
And then Bossy and her friend Veronique visited Barbra Streisand!
And then Bossy and Veronique stopped by Don Henley’s!
Exhausted by her celebrity consorting, Bossy pulled her Focus to the side of the road in a completely legal to the side of the road way dear Ford, so Bossy and Veronique could enjoy a nature hike:
And then a funny thing happened on the nature hike! The path kept pathing all the way to the edge of the nature:
And then, this was really odd: at the end of the nature, there was water!
And in this water, there were dolphins!
Don’t get Bossy wrong, the dolphins didn’t appear all at once!
Nope, the dolphins didn’t appear all at once at all. The dolphins sort of appeared none at once!
But luckily Bossy’s friend Veronique has a sixth sense, and she was all, “I can feel there’s a dolphin pod close by.”
And Bossy’s friend Veronique was right! Because what should suddenly appear but a pod of dolphins!

This was just about when Bossy and her friend Veronique decided if they couldn’t swim with the dolphins, they could at least eat them for dinner!
And so there sat Bossy and her friend Veronique at the outdoor picnic table in their fish fry restaurant hold the fry, where they spoke of their various crossroads: Bossy with her Undivorce, and Veronique poised to move out of the house she adores.
And when their dinner was complete and every condiment had been absorbed by every carbohydrate, Bossy climbed back into her Ford Focus, where Veronique pointed out that the Ford’s navigational system poses the truly existential questions:

OOH OOH, Bossy is going to New Orleans! I’m excited. Goodbye Cali. Loved the Ford Focus husband tour of LA with selected wonderful guides like Sissy/Joni.
I’m not a math maven or anything, but I think it’s impossible to divide New Orleans by Los Angeles (and exactly why is Spellcheck sneering at Los Angeles?). Am I correct here?

Nice pictures and great photo-shopping. I have never seen the Pacific off of Mailbu look blue before! Did you happen to feel how cold that water is? So explain to me how Gidget could go surfing in that!
I’m going to go out on a limb right now and say that “Bossy” could be one of the most irritating bloggers on the internet. This blog is the work of a pathetic lady who’s previous life as a stay-at-home mom wasn’t doing it for her so she decides to fill in others about the pointless, stupid details of her new, “glamorous” lifestyle. Please do not fall victim to her attempt to feed her gigantic ego (although this shouldn’t be too difficult since her posts have absolutely no point to them. Like absolutely no point unless you enjoy listening to somebody who constantly refers to herself in the 3rd person explain what it’s like to try to validate her existence.) Bossy, please do me a favor and try and write something interesting or thought-provoking before posting. Thank you!

Great post! First time I heard the term “pod of dolphins” was from a video game called Ecco (yes, there are/were video games about dolphins). Which just prompted me to invent silly names for animal groups, like a “dollop of turtles” and a “cacophony of chickens.”
Bossy is funny and cool to run around with in New Orleans!
This stuff is boring, self-indulgent crap supported by followers who apparently have a lot of time on their hands. BOOORING!
