Dear World, How Could This Not Be The Same Person?
The other day Bossy was researching alternate energy systems and their impact on the global economy, which is to say she was watching TV. And that’s when she saw a commercial for Top Chef’s new competition show, Just Desserts.
It’s weird. As much as Bossy loves Top Chef, and as much as Bossy loves eating dessert, Bossy has no interest in watching people make dessert.
But it was during this commercial for Just Desserts, Bossy spied him:
His name is Johnny Iuzzini, and he’s the head judge for the show — but meanwhile Bossy began yelling in the general direction of the family who avoids Bossy when she’s watching TV, “It’s Melissa’s Lee!”
Melissa’s Lee! You know, Melissa’s Lee? Lee who was Melissa’s boyfriend on Thirtysomething?
So then Bossy began researching the Strategic Arms Reduction and how it effects our economic dialogue, which is to say Bossy went looking for photos of Melissa’s Lee to prove her point:

I loved Lee. And Melissa and Lee together. And Thirtysomething. A lot.
An abnormal lot, in fact.

Thirtysomething was brilliant….it got a bum rap being the show that people “love to hate”. Is there anything more annoying than people who watch things they “love to hate”.
That’s just a cop-out.
“Love to hate” is code for “excuse to bitch about”. I loved Thirtysomething too. They should do an update on where they are now. They could call it “Oh God, can I really be almost Fiftysomething??????”
So, wait…is it who you thought it was or not?
I loved thirtysomething, but I have to say that I don’t even remember that character. Guess I wasn’t as involved as I thought I was.
No, it would have to be called “Trying to Convince Thirtysomethings that Fiftysomething is the new Thirtysomething”.
Olivia loved Thirtysomething as well but she doesn’t remember that guy. Olivia thought that Melissa was gay or maybe she just hoped that Melissa was gay because Melissa seemed to spend a lot of time with Gary who was the featured player in Olivia’s fantasies. And Olivia wanted Gary for herself.

Loved the show, but obviously not as much as Bossy. Loved the hell out Patricia Wettig and Ken Olin together on Brothers and Sisters for a while.
But the one boss/client guy from 30 something, Miles Drentell (had to search for that), used the same character name on another show. For years whenever I would see him on anything would call out There’s Miles.
Of course if I were a Philadephian like Bossy, would have all details committed to my soul too.
I loved Melissa’s Lee! I’d watch *him* make dessert.
Gotta say, I feel the same about just desserts, its just silly. Let them cook real food darn it.
I loved thirtysomething. Was that him??
Thirtysomething is on Instant Watch Netflix–I have it on the TV, for when I want to watch something that I don’t have to concentrate too hard on–since I’ve seen the whole series it’s perfect. Damn, Hope was skinny.

They’re the same person. Nice work Detective Bossy.
So, I guess he had a career change….sort of like Vanilla Ice who is now on DIY.
I loved thirtysomething, too, but not as much as you all.
