Dear Christy Turlington, Where’d You Get Those Pants?
The other day Bossy was walking along the High Line minding her own business, where minding her own business equals Bossy was minding everyone else’s business.
That’s when Bossy spied the cutest pants that ever lived. Also? They were on Christy Turlington:
A color that was really a non-color, the pants maybe featured something neat in the front, like stitching or flat pockets or some other interest, and they had zippers up the sides of the lower leg:

I’m going to go with Banana Republic – thin wale cords. probably a season or two ago. Except now that I am staring I notice the two seams behind the leg – which means – probably not – BR doesn’t get all fancy like that.
I’m guessing though that you would likely die for a shop I passed by on Broadway the other day that had such KILLER clothes like this – I am dieting strictly on the adrenaline drive of NEEDING to own something from that store – and I’m about 20lbs over what they cater to (on a good day lol)…. all saints? I had never heard of it before. UK store. But killer stuff. the stuff supermodels would wear on their days off for sure. lol.

Those seams at the top of calf and above the knee are very distinctive. No ideas so far, but I like the first pair you posted.
I thought they might be a pair of AGs and while a couple were close, they weren’t what Christy had on.
If you got that close to her, why didn’t you ask her? I never would have figured you to be a shy girl.
Knowing Christy like I do, she probably had them custom made. Just go with the closest ones off the rack. Or you could check Goodwill. I get a lot of my best stuff there.
my guess is she got them there pants from some modeling gig back in 1982 when it was fashionable to have zippers on your pants – and dear god – please tell me we are not going back to those pants. next it will be leg warmers.
Those pants are all really tight. How does one sit down? Or does one just hang around on the street waiting for Bossy and her camera?

Olivia thinks that Bossy could probably rock any pants she wanted to wear but she is not impressed by these pants. Olivia suggests Value Village . . . or Salvation Army . . . is that SERIOUSLY Christy Turlington? That’s either scary or reassuring, depending on your point of view.

I was just there (9/10) and my trusty tour guide of a husband called it Highland Park.

Loves me the High Line – what a brilliant idea. Of course, in 1977 when I was riding my bike on its decrepit ruins, commuting from SoHo to Hell’s Kitchen for work, it was a little less attractive.

I feel like those pants aren’t doing Christy any favors. Whoorl had some nice jeans (in colors) for fall; maybe those would flatter Christy (and Bossy and the council) more.

I second Aunt Snow (#20). NOBODY looks good in skinny pants because if you’re rail thin, you look like you need a sandwich. And if you have any sort of meat on your bones, you look chubby and ridiculous. You just can’t win.
I’ll stick with what I have if I can find them. After a summer of numerous days of 1,000 degrees all garments with long pants have been stored somewhere in this house. Time for me to try to find them. We had a cool front last night and soon I’ll need the jeans.

I was at Santa Monica beach in L.A. yesterday with my daughters who were off for Rosh Hashana and the only person of note I saw was a naked man. And he was fat with a very small penis.

The pants are tight enough to reveal what looks like weird knee braces on each leg. What’s up with that. You can make out the edge of the bands on the left leg, and get a hint on the right. Also, person in white shirt opposite Christie seems to be wearing something similar, but longer.
I don’t know about the manufacturer but she did seem to disappear standing by that little tree. Her legs are teensy. So by inference, I guess Bossy’s legs are teensy. The pants are v. cute. Good luck with your search. With my muscle bound rear and legs – those pants won’t make it past my calf.

That’s just it. Girls who are thin can wear these jegging pants and look good doing it. When you come to think of it, girls who are thin can wear anything and look good! That’s why when I see clothes at the store on hangers they look great until I put my body in them. If you’re really thin, the clothes still look they did on the hanger!
They might be from her own clothing line, Nuala. I’ve tried to find Nuala clothes online though and they are few and far between so not sure where you could look. I say ask her directly especially since you have the stalkerazzi photo you can show her in order to make sure she doesn’t accidentally steer you towards some other lame pants.
