Ten-Word Tuesday, Over (Not) Easy
This. This is the reason Bossy is so late posting her Ten-Word Tuesday challenge today. Well, bacon isn’t the only reason, it’s also this:

It’s election day, which means both of Bossy’s kids are home from their various schools, which means Bossy is playing the part of short-order cook.
When it comes to breakfast, the Bossy family has a hard time agreeing on a shared goal. For instance, Bossy enjoys eggs and bacon, but her daughter only enjoys bacon if it’s crushed over a toasted bagel smothered in cream cheese.
In another example, Bossy’s daughter enjoys sausage and pancakes, while Bossy’s son chooses to skip the pancakes in favor of sausage and a stack of toast.
In a diner, all of these specificities are no big deal, but when preparing breakfast at home, Bossy can sum up her attitude this way: Sister mercy Bossy needs a bigger kitchen and bigger heart.
Which is what today’s Ten-Word Challenge is all about. In exactly ten words, can you order your ideal breakfast from Bossy the short-order cook?

Toasted sesame seed bagel, lox, kippered salmon, onion, hot coffee.
Eggs benedict with extra hollandaise sauce and a Bloody Mary.
A Bloody Mary with a side order of Bloody Mary.
toasted everything bagel, real butter, scrambled eggs, bacon, orange juice.
Triple Chocolate Cake and a big ole glass of milk.
Toasted “everything” bagel. Cream Cheese. Bacon. Tomato. Cut in half.
Toasted bagel (and I mean a REAL bagel, none of this bullshit doughnut made of bread crap) with cream cheese, lox (or whitefish spread), tomato, scrambled eggs, big cup of green tea (no milk, sugar or nuthin’), bigger glass of water (room temp) and then a nap.
A bowl of oatmeal and a piece of cinnamon toast.
Steel cut oatmeal with fresh blueberries and cream, thank you!
Scrambled eggs, bacon, French toast, champagne with splash of OJ.

super crispy corned beef hash with perfectly done sunny side up eggs, a side of buttery toast, a big glass of pulp-less OJ, and a cuppa joe.
Ham, cheddar, tomato omlete with a side of bacon & hashbrowns.
Scrambled eggs and sausage patties, don’t forget the hash browns!

I haven’t even been able to read the 10WT thing yet: stupid popups keep covering 1/2 the screen. I hope Bossy is getting lots-o-money$ from them, because they sure are annoying. Especially that purple bar that travels up the screen and is hard to get rid of.

Coffee with pink stuff and milk, lots of it. Easy to please for breakfast but no sweet pickles with my eggs (father pushes that) and still not a fan of grits.
It is getting to be oatmeal season with a little cinnamon and vanilla on top. Yum.
My grandfather used to say when one one of the grandkids tried to get a “special” request — This ain’t no short order house. You ate what was put on the table and liked it or beat the other kids to the potatoes.

a poached egg in one of those lovely egg cups form England. Filled iwht tiny bits of ham or bacon and onions and whatever else I can squeeze into the egg cup. Toast soldiers and real butter. Make that Coffee Kona and real fresh cream.
