Ten-Word Tuesday. Now With 40% More Dr. Seuss

trader-joes-moisturizer

There you sat in Trader Joe’s
On the counter, free as air
There to solve all dry skin woes
“Press my nozzle if you dare,”

Now Bossy isn’t fond of scents
Too flowery or overwrought
But in this blogger’s own defense
She sprayed the perfume others bought

But Bossy thought she’d try you out
Looking back, a risky move
To find out what you were about
Your Beta Glucan had to prove

Silky smooth’s what Bossy thought
Fresh like lemons on the vine
So she decided that she ought
Grab a few and jump in line

That first summer was the best
In hokey drugstore ad parlance,
Supple skin was the request
Provided by lipid balance

From that day on, your daily use
Moisturized both leg and hand
The two of you did sign a truce
To rid of all dry skin as planned

But then one very fateful day
Perusing shelves in Trader Joe’s
Bossy’s heart filled with dismay
You’re no longer there, this blows!

And it seems you shan’t return
All excellent and cheap, you were
Leaving Bossy with concern
To which hand cream shall she defer?

————————

Bossy can sum up her disappointment in the disappearance of her favorite hand cream from Trader Joe’s in this way: Disappear those bags of edamame, Trader Joe’s, and you’re toast.

Which is what today’s Ten-Word Challenge is all about. In exactly ten words, can you tell Bossy and her council about a product or thing you loved but was discontinued or no longer easy to find?

And be sure to check back later today for the most elusive favorites on the web.
