Because It Only Took Ten Days And Bossy Is Pretty Sure Her Husband Is Still On Hold With Typepad. Hello, Husband?

Imagine the great mood that Bossy was in
When her husband, the process, he did begin
Of removing the Typepad from her URL
Certain names come to mind, like the Devil and Hell.

Let Bossy back up: first she needed a plan
So she emailed her best friend, the Pioneer Woman
And Ree told her just how she could change that address
In a way filled with grace, and with hope, and less stress.

It involved calling the place that hosts her domain
But Bossy has a problem that she must explain,
Yes, she has a psychosis and it’s rather full-blown
You see — our dear friend Bossy is afraid of the Phone.

So Bossy did what any fine woman would do
She asked her husband, “Will you call them? Or no sex for you!”
So Bossy’s husband moved out and he filed for divorce
Just kidding — Bossy’s husband made that phone call of course.

And then the Domain place put him on hold.
And on hold and on hold and on hold hold hold hold.
In her native Pig Latin, Bossy has this to say:
Whatever you do, don’t use I-ow-er-pay Eb-way.

And then o’er at TypePad more crap was required
Bossy’s husband was on hold until the milk had expired
In the end Typepad said, “We’ve done all we can do,
the rest of the name change is now up to you.”

And here’s what this means, dear readers reader, dear friends friend
A little effort you must make, a little time you must spend
It requires some typing – and no letters can be missing
But once this is done, your ass Bossy will be kissing.

Go up to that place where her URL sits:

typepad

And select the whole name and delete the whole bit
Then take some deep breaths and try to stay calm:
And then type in its place: www.iambossy.com

When this is in place you must then hit “return”
And the name without TypePad will appear, you’ll soon learn:

And be careful your computer doesn’t add extra bits:

Because the URL will be wrong and reduce Bossy to fits.

And once you have Bossy’s shiny new URL
